Ballimore
Major John MacRae-Gilstrap of Ballimore was one of the people who helped Alexander Macrae write the Clan History book, and was named in the Preface.

Surgeon John Macrae, son of Farquhar, took a copy of the History to India, where a copy of it was made by Colonel Sir John Macra of Ardintoul about 1816. This copy is now in the possession of Captain John MacRae Gilstrap of Ballimore
